Sandcasters to the Engineering and Plastics Industries

Art, Sculpture & Architecture

NewPro has been involved with the Arts and Film industries since the 1950’s when they produced castings for use in the 1954 film 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. This long lasting relationship has included work for Braveheart, the first Tomb Raider, and, more recently, the 2005 blockbuster Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

These links have been reinforced by NewPro’s long standing appointment to produce the UK’s premier Film and Television award, the BAFTA. NewPro have also been commissioned to produce numerous other awards for industry, politics and football.

Many clients have also sought NewPro’s expertise in decorative restoration, where items such as balustrades and railings require a period look, yet benefit from the light weight of aluminium.

NewPro’s experience in casting Bronze has resulted in them producing work for many well known professionals. Artists and designers alike value NewPro’s ability to deal with one off specialist castings.
